Persons responsible for attempting unauthorized access of Risk Control computer systems will be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data provided to us. This can usually be done by emailing the Risk Control webmaster.

CONDITIONS
By accepting delivery pursuant to any purchase order placed through Risk Control, the buyer accepts these terms and conditions contained herein.

PAYMENT TERMS
For internet, phone and mail orders, payment is to be cash, check, credit card or a direct deposit. Payment must be received and cleared before shipment is made.

All written bids for any system (CCTV, Access Control, Parking Lot or Electronic Article Surveillance) sold and to be installed by Risk Control personnel requires a 50% down payment at time of acceptance of bid. At this time the job will be scheduled with the client.

PRICES
Prices quoted in writing by Risk Control will be firm for a period of 30 days from date of offer. All prices are subject to change at any time after 30 days without notice.

TITLE OF GOODS
Title of the goods shall only pass to the buyer following full payment to Risk Control. Risk Control retains ownership of same goods and reserves the right to reclaim these goods from the buyer's premises if the invoice is not paid within the terms of this contract.

FREIGHT ON RETURNS
The buyer accepts liability for all freight costs incurred in the return of warranty repair or replacement faulty goods without exception.

WARRANTY
Most items carry a 12 month warranty period from date of consignment provided that:

1. The goods have not been repaired or altered without the technical attention of Risk Control 

2. Risk Control reserves the right to waive or amend specific warranty on individual products. 

3. The goods have not been subject to use outside the extremes of the stated specifications under normal conditions. 

Please Note: Risk Control does not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury, loss, damage or alteration sustained by the buyer however arising.

Some items carry a 2-3 year manufacturer warranty, which we honor to the customer. Contact us for specific details for your equipment.

Our installation labor warranty is 90 days from date of completion of the work. The parts carry the manufacturer warranty.

Our service labor warranty is 90 days from date of completion of the work. The parts carry the manufacturer warranty.

Replacement or repair of defective items is at the discretion of Risk Control.

BACK ORDERS 
Goods not in stock at the time of receipt of order placed will automatically be placed on backorder, unless otherwise requested.

CANCELLATION OF ORDER
Risk Control will not accept any cancellation of orders unless by prior agreement and then only upon terms which will compensate Risk Control for the cost of cancellation. Restocking, shipping and preparation fees may therefore apply.

CREDIT AND REFUNDS
Goods returned for credit or for a refund will not be accepted unless:

1. Prior authorization has been given by Risk Control. You must supply the original invoice number and date of purchase. You also must call us to get an RMA number to return any merchandise for replacement, credit, or refund.

2. If it is for the return of incorrectly ordered goods, a 20% restocking charge may be applied to all goods returned for credit due to incorrectly ordered items by the customer.
